1/4 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. hot coffee
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. raisins
1/4 c. nuts
Cream shortening and sugar. Add egg and beat. Add coffee
gradually and mix well. Sift dry ingredients and add to egg
mixture. Add raisins and nuts. Pour into a greased 10 x 15-inch
pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Cool and frost. Cut into bars.
