1 lb. ground beef
4 c. cubed, peeled potatoes (1/2-inch cubed)
1 chopped onion
3 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
4 c. water
2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 to 1 Tbsp. hot pepper sauce
Brown ground beef and drain. Add potatoes, onion and tomato
sauce in a large pot. Stir in salt, pepper and hot sauce. Bring
to a boil and reduce heat. Simmer for 1 hour or until the
potatoes are tender and the soup has thickened. Yields 6 to 8
