1 deer ham 1 large bottle lemon juice 1/2 box salt 2 onions 1 bell pepper 2 sticks margarine 2 Tbsp. sage 4 c. water or enough to cover meat Place meat in the sink. Add lemon juice and salt. Cover with water and let soak overnight or 6 to 8 hours. After soaking, rinse meat well and place in a deep roasting pan. Add onions and bell pepper. Add water to cover meat to 1/2 of the way. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Reduce heat to 325 degrees and bake for 5 to 6 hours or until the meat is tender enough to pick off the bone with a fork. Remove from oven and pour broth off meat. Debone and place back in pan. Melt margarine and pour over meat. Mix 1 jar of Carolina Treat barbecue sauce and 1 bottle of John Boy and Billy's barbecue sauce together. Mix meat in sauces and place back in the oven. Bake 1 1/2 to 2 hours at 325 degrees or until heated all the way through. Delicious served with rice.
