1 lb. ground beef (raw) 1 whole cabbage 1 medium onion 1 c. rice (raw) 1 egg 2 cans tomato sauce 1 large jar Ragu sauce salt and pepper any seasonings that you like: basil, oregano, crushed red pepper, etc. Cut core out of cabbage and boil whole until leaves are tender. Mix all of the remaining ingredients (except tomato sauce and Ragu sauce) and roll into oblong shape (do not flatten like hamburgers). Drain the cabbage. Pull off cabbage leaves and place the hamburger mixture inside. Be sure to tuck in the ends of leaves (burrito style). Cut up any extra cabbage leaves and add to pot. Place stuffed cabbage in pot and pour tomato and Ragu sauce over them. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and continue cooking on medium to low heat about 45 to 60 minutes.
