1 head cabbage
1/2 c. cooked rice
1/4 c. onion, chopped
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 lb. hamburger
1 (8 oz.) can sour cabbage kraut, chopped
32 oz. spaghetti sauce
1/2 to 3/4 tsp. salt
Core and boil cabbage leaves until curl. Cook rice with salt
and pepper. Drain rice and let cool. Mix hamburger, onion and
rice together and form into palm size balls.
Grease or spray casserole dish. Then line casserole dish with
can of sauerkraut. Put small amount of spaghetti sauce on cabbage
kraut (spread evenly over bottom of dish). Then roll hamburger
mixture in cabbage leaves. Place on layer of cabbage kraut. Pour
over remaining spaghetti sauce.
Bake approximately 45 minutes in preheated oven at 375 degrees.
Serve hot. Enjoy.
