POUND CAKE

2 sticks butter
1 c. butter Crisco, at room temperature
6 brown eggs
3 c. sugar
4 c. Swans Down cake flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
pinch of salt
1 c. sweet milk
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1 tsp. butter flavoring

Beat butter and Crisco until creamy. Add brown eggs. Beat
together. Add sugar and beat well. Sift Swans Down cake flour.
Add baking powder and salt. Alternate adding flour and milk. Add
vanilla flavoring and butter flavoring.

Pour into greased and floured pan. Bake in cold oven for 1
hour and 45 minutes at 300 degrees.
