SYLVIA'S POUND CAKE

3 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
6 eggs, at room temperature
1 c. Crisco
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
4 c. Swans Down flour
1 c. milk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. butter flavoring

Cream together sugar and butter. Add eggs, one at a time,
then follow with the remaining ingredients. Grease a pan with the
Crisco and flour it. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
