ICEBOX STRAWBERRY PIE

1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 small carton Cool Whip or 1 c. whipped cream
9-inch baked pie shell

Cream first 3 ingredients together. Add Cool Whip or whipped
cream. Mix well and spread on baked pie shell. Pour prepared
strawberry glaze over the cream mixture.

Glaze:
1 1/2 c. berries
water, sugar and cornstarch or tapioca
butter
red food coloring

Crush berries and combine with water, sugar and cornstarch or
tapioca in pan. Bring to boil for 2 minutes. Take from heat and
add butter and red food coloring. Stir well and pour over berries
in shell. Chill.

Keep in refrigerator. Serve with whipped cream, Cool Whip or
dessert mix.
