1 1/2 c. sugar 3/4 c. dark Karo syrup 6 Tbsp. butter 4 eggs 1 1/2 c. chopped pecans 2 unbaked 9-inch pie shells Beat sugar, syrup and butter together. Add eggs and pecans. Fill unbaked shell with mixture and bake in moderately hot oven (400 degrees) for ten minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and continue baking for 30 to 35 minutes or until done.
