PETER PAUL MOUND CAKE

1 stick butter
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. cocoa, dissolved with a little water
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. self-rising flour

Cream sugar and shortening. Add cocoa and eggs, one at a
time. Add dry ingredients with milk. Bake in 3 layers at 350 degrees
for 20 to 25 minutes.

Filling:
1 c. milk
1 c. sugar
12 oz. marshmallows
2 c. coconut

Bring milk and sugar to boil. Add marshmallows and dissolve.
Add coconut and cook for 2 minutes, then put between layers.

Icing:
1/4 c. shortening
1/4 stick butter
4 Tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
1 box confectioners sugar

Mix all together and add enough milk to spread.
