2/3 c. water
1/3 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
3 standard-sized candy canes, crushed
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
3 c. milk
3/4 c. half-and-half cream
In a saucepan, bring water to a boil. Reduce to medium heat and
stir in cocoa powder, candy canes, sugar, and salt until thoroughly
mixed. Let mixture come to a simmer (NOT boiling). Pour into 4
mugs and garnish with marshmallows.
