1 12-oz. bag semi-sweet or unsweetened chocolate chips
1 Tbsp. coconut oil or vegetable shortening
Line cookie sheet with parchment paper. Cut peeled bananas into
1-inch thick slices. Insert a toothpick in each slice and place on
cookie sheet. Freeze for 30 minutes.
Microwave chocolate chips and coconut oil (or shortening) on High
for 30 seconds. Stir well and continue to microwave in 15-second
intervals until all chocolate chips are melted.
Remove bananas from freezer and dip in melted chocolate. Place on
cookie sheet and let stand until chocolate is firm (or place in
freezer until chocolate is firm).
