1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. copped onion
1/2 pkg. Hamburger Helper Cheeseburger Macaroni mix
5 c. water
1/2 tsp. dried basil leaves, crushed
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
16-oz. can tomatoes
16-oz. can mixed vegetables
2 Tbsp. snipped parsley
Cook and stir ground beef and onion in a Dutch oven until beef is
browned. Drain. Stir in sauce mix from Hamburger Helper, water,
basil, salt, pepper, and tomatoes with liquid. Break up tomatoes
with fork. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly, for 10 minutes.
Stir in macaroni from package and canned vegetables with liquid.
Cover and cook until macaroni is tender (about 10-15 minutes).
Stir in parsley.
