1 pkg. dried beans
1 large onion, chopped
4 large carrots, chopped or sliced
4 stalks celery, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 cubes vegetable bouillon
juice of 1 lemon
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. marjoram
1 29-oz. can tomatoes
Place dried beans on a large bowl of water and let sit overnight.
Drain. In a large pot, place ham, sausage, and bacon in 2 qts. of
water bring to a boil and then simmer for 2 hours.
Add other ingredients and simmer for another hour. Add more water
or broth if liquid reduced too much.
