1 3-oz. package strawberry gelatin 1 c. hot water 1/2 c. cinnamon candies (red hots) 1 Tbsp. lemon juice 1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans 1 c. applesauce 2 oz. cream cheese 1 Tbsp. mayonnaise 2 Tbsp. milk Dissolve gelatin in hot water and add candies immediately (they take a while to melt). When candies are dissolved, add lemon juice and applesauce. Chill until slightly thickened in a 9x9-inch pan. Add nuts. Blend together softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, and milk. Put on top of gelatin before it is set and swirl gently through gelatin with a knife. Let set in refrigerator.
