1 20-oz. can pineapple chunks 16-oz. pkg. of "Brown and Serve" sausages or fully cooked "Little Smokies" 2 Tbsp. cornstarch 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. maple syrup 1/3 c. water 1/3 c. vinegar 1 large green pepper 1 large red pepper Brown sausages (if using "Brown and Serve", cut into thirds before browning). Drain pineapple, reserving juice. Cut peppers into 1 inch chunks. Blend cornstarch, salt, reserved pineapple juice, maple syrup, water, and vinegar. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Add to browned sausages. Allow sausages to lightly simmer in this sauce until approximately 1 hour before serving. (If the mixture gets too thick, add water to thin.) 1 hour prior to serving, add pineapple and peppers. Simmer lightly.
