Casserole 1 loaf French bread 9 large eggs 2 c. milk 1/2 c. heavy whipping cream 3/4 c. sugar 2 Tbsp. vanilla extract Spray a 9x13-inch pan with cooking spray. Tear or cut French bread into chunks and place evenly in pan. In a large bowl mix together eggs, cream, milk, sugar, and vanilla extract. Pour evenly over bread. Cover with plastic wrap and store in refrigerator for several hours or overnight. When ready to bake, preheat oven to 350 degrees. Remove casserole from refrigerator and sprinkle dry streusel mixture over the top. Bake for 45-55 minutes or until the bread is set and golden brown. Serve warm with butter and maple syrup. Streusel Topping 1/2 c. all-purpose flour 1/2 c. brown sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. salt maple syrup, for serving In a separate bowl, mix together flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Add butter and cut into dry mixture. Continue cutting until mixture resembles sand with pea-sized chunks. Cover and store mixture in refrigerator.
