10 bacon strips
2 c. all purpose flour
1/4 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. baking powder
3/4 c. milk
1 1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 c. diced green chile
In a skillet, cook the bacon until crisp; reserve 1/3 c. drippings.
Crumble bacon and set aside.
In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar and baking powder. In a
mixing bowl, beat milk, egg and drippings; stir into dry
ingredients just until moistened. Fold in the cheese, chilis, and

15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
