2 1/2 c. sugar
4 heaping Tbsp. flour
2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
1/2 stick butter
sliced bananas
vanilla wafers

Mix sugar, flour, unbeaten eggs. Beat well. Add milk, vanilla, and
1/2 stick butter. Pour into a medium-size saucepan and cook over
medium-high heat until slightly thickened (will continue to thicken
as it cools). Cool completely.

In a serving bowl, put a layer of vanilla wafers, then a layer of
bananas, and cover with a layer of pudding. continue layering
until all ingredients are used, with pudding being the top layer.
Chill for about 1 hour before serving. Top with whipped cream.
