1 c. sugar
1 c. milk
1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. baking powder
2 c. apricots or other fruit (if using fresh fruit, add 1 c. sugar,
2 c. hot water, and 3 Tbsp. butter; if using canned fruit, add 1/2
c. sugar, 1 c. boiling water, and 3 Tbsp. butter)
Mix first six ingredients. Pour batter into the bottom of a
casserole or baking dish. Pour the fruit mixture on top.
Bake about 30 minutes at 350 degrees or until batter is done and fruit goes
to the bottom.
