JOANNE CARROLL'S FROZEN FRUIT SALAD

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
3/4 c. sugar
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
1 c. chopped walnuts
2 or 3 bananas, sliced
1 (12 oz.) container Cool Whip

Combine cream cheese and sugar. Stir in pineapple, strawberries,
bananas and nuts; fold in Cool Whip. Pour into a 9 x 13-inch dish;
freeze. Before serving, remove from freezer and let sit for 30
minutes. Cut into individual portions; return to freezer until
serving.
