LETTUCE SALAD

1 head torn lettuce
1 c. diced celery
4 boiled eggs, chopped
1 can drained English peas
1/2 c. chopped bell pepper
1 medium onion, chopped
8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 c. mayonnaise
4 oz. grated cheese

Mix the first seven ingredients. Mix sugar and mayonnaise; spread
over top of vegetables. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Refrigerate
for 8 to 12 hours.
