1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. chopped/slivered almonds
1 c. celery
2 green onions with tops, chopped
2 small bunches fresh spinach or romaine lettuce
1 (11 oz.) can mandarin orange segments, drained
Stirring constantly, melt sugar over medium heat. Add almonds; stir
until coated (about 5 minutes). Turn almonds onto plate; cool 5
minutes and break apart. Combine celery, onions and spinach/romaine
in large bowl. Add orange segments, almonds and dressing.
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. Tabasco
2 Tbsp. vinegar
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 vegetable oil
Combine all ingredients; pour over salad. Chill until ready to
