1 Tbsp. olive or vegetable oil
3/4 lb. uncooked, deveined and peeled medium shrimp, thawed
1 medium green onion, thinly sliced (1 Tbsp.)
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
2 tsp. chopped fresh or 1/2 tsp. dried basil leaves
2 tsp. chopped fresh parsley or 3/4 tsp. parsley flakes
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/8 tsp. salt
grated Parmesan cheese (if desired)
In 10-inch skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add shrimp and
remaining ingredients, except cheese. Cook 2 to 3 minutes, stirring
often, until shrimp are pink. (Overcooked shrimp will be tough.)
Remove from heat; sprinkle with cheese.
