2 c. sugar 1/2 c. cocoa 1/2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour 1 large can Pet evaporated milk 6 eggs, separated 1 1/2 sticks melted butter 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. sugar (for meringue) 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar 2 deep-dish pie crusts Beat 2 cups sugar, cocoa and flour with 1/2 can evaporated milk. Next, beat in 6 egg yolks and the other 1/2 can milk. Stir in melted butter and vanilla. Pour into pie shells. Bake at 325 degrees for 40 minutes. Make your meringue out of the 6 egg whites, cream of tartar and 1/2 cup sugar; beat well. Top pies and seal edges. Bake another 5 minutes, or until brown at 425 degrees.
