IRISH BROWN BREAD

2 c. plain flour
2 to 3 heaping handfuls oat bran cereal
tiny palm full of sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
pinch of salt
1 stick margarine or butter
buttermilk (enough to make a sticky dough)

Combine all dry ingredients; cut in margarine. Add buttermilk. At
this point, dough may be dropped onto a greased cookie sheet, or
knead dough a few strokes, pat or roll out on cutting board; cut into
biscuits and place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 450 degrees until brown
and done.
