3 c. fresh strawberries, peaches, kiwi, peeled and sliced
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. sherry
2 c. heavy whipping cream
1 (3.4 oz.) box vanilla instant pudding
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. almond extract
1/2 c. slivered almonds
Place fruit in a bowl; sprinkle with sugar and set aside. Place
ladyfingers in large glass serving bowl. Pour sherry over
ladyfingers; let soak while you prepare custard. Pour cream into
bowl of electric mixer; with motor running, pour vanilla pudding into
bowl and beat. Add vanilla and almond extracts. Continue beating
until thickened; set aside. Brush ladyfingers with jam; sprinkle
with 1/4 cup almonds. Spoon fruit over ladyfingers. Pour custard
mixture over fruit; top with remaining almonds. Refrigerate until
ready to serve.
