1 1/2 c. salad oil
2 c. sugar
3 c. sifted plain flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
3 c. chopped tart apples
1 c. chopped pecans
2 tsp. vanilla
Beat oil and sugar together until well blended. Add eggs, one at a
time, beating well after each addition. Sift together flour, salt
and soda; add gradually to egg mixture and blend in. Stir in apples,
pecans and vanilla. Pour into a greased and floured 10-inch tube
pan. Bake in a 350 degrees oven for 60 minutes.
