1/2 c. butter or margarine 1/2 c. Crisco 3 c. sugar 3 c. all-purpose flour, sifted (I prefer Pillsbury) 5 jumbo eggs 1 c. whole milk 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla Cream butter (or margarine), Crisco and sugar. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating after each. Combine milk and vanilla. Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Alternately add liquid ingredients and dry ingredients to creamed mixture. Scrape bowl and beat on medium for about 3 minutes. Pour into greased 10-inch tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour 10 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes.
