PEANUT BUTTER CAKE


Cake:
1 box Duncan Hines SuperMoist cake mix
1/4 c. self-rising flour
3 heaping Tbsp. peanut butter
1/2 c. oil

Mix cake as directed. Add flour, peanut butter and oil; mix
ingredients thoroughly. Pour into 9 x 13-inch baking pan sprayed
with cooking spray. Bake at 350 degrees until tests done.

Icing:
1 1/2 sticks butter
3 c. sugar
3/4 c. evaporated milk
3 heaping Tbsp. butter
1 Tbsp. white Karo syrup
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Place butter in heavy saucepan. Mix other ingredients (except
vanilla). Pour mixture over butter (do not stir). Place on low heat
and allow to simmer 10 to 15 minutes; stir as little as possible.
Turn heat to medium. Bring mixture to a boil; boil 3 minutes.
Remove from heat; add vanilla. Do not stir. Let stand 3 to 4
minutes and then beat until reaches spreading consistency. Spread
quickly on cake.
