2 c. sugar 2 tsp. cinnamon 2 tsp. all spice 1 c. shortening 2 tsp. nutmeg 3 large eggs 8 Tbsp. sour milk 2 tsp. vinegar to 1/2 c. milk to sour 2 tsp. soda 2 tsp. baking powder 2 c. of blackberries - undrained (cold pack) 2 1/2 to 3 c. of flour Cream sugar and shortening, beat in eggs, add milk, soda baking powder, and spices. Mix well. Add flour (more or less depending on amount of juice on berries). Add berries and juice and beat well. Bake in sheet pan or loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 - 40 minutes. CARAMEL ICING: 3 Tbsp. butter 1/4 c. condensed milk 1/2 c. brown sugar Boil 2 minutes. Add 1 cup, 2 Tbsp. of powder sugar. (Double this for sheet cake size).
