OGERETTE'S RAISIN PUDDING CAKE


SYRUP:
1 c. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. corn starch
2 Tbsp. butter

BATTER:
2 Tbsp. butter
1/2 c. white sugar
1 c. milk
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. raisins

SYRUP: Mix together, add 1/2 cup cold water, then add 1 1/2
cups hot water. Boil for 5 minutes remove from heat then add 1
tablespoon vanilla. Pour in 9 x 9 inch pan.

BATTER: Mix until smooth. Put over syrup by spoonfuls. Add
cinnamon on top. Bake at 350 degrees until done.
