1 - (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk 1 lb. confectioners sugar 1 - (14 oz.) pkg. shredded coconut 2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts 20 - (1 oz.) squares semi-sweet chocolate 1 Tbsp. solid vegetable oil Put the condensed milk, confectioners sugar, coconut, and nuts in large bowl. Work with a wooden spoon or one hand until thoroughly mixed. Cover and chill 3 hours or longer. Roll into balls using 1 tsp. of mixture for each. Put balls on a baking sheet covered with wax paper. Melt chocolate and shortening in top of double boiler over simmering water. Remove from heat. Drop balls into chocolate one at a time. Put coated balls on prepared cookie sheet.
