BROCCOLI-CHEESE SOUP

3/4 c. onions
2 Tbsp. butter
6 c. water
6 chicken bouillon cubes or 1 Tbsp. chicken base seasoning
2 pkg. chopped broccoli
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
8 oz. pkg. egg noodles
3 c. milk
1/2 lb. velveeta cheese

Saute onions in butter until soft; add water, bouillon cubes,
broccoli, and garlic powder. Bring to a boil and boil for 4
minutes. Add noodles, cook according to package directions. Add
milk and velveeta cheese. Heat on low until cheese melts. Do not
boil.
