1 quart tomato juice
2 Tbsp. grated onion
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. sugar
4 Tbsp. butter
4 Tbsp. flour
2 c. milk
1/8 tsp. baking soda
Combine juice, onion, salt, pepper, and sugar. Simmer 10
minutes. Melt butter, blend in flour, gradually add milk to
butter-flour mixture. Add soda to tomato mixture. Gradually add
milk to tomato juice mixture. Recipe makes approx: 4-6 servings.
