3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 frying chicken (2 1/2 to 3 pounds) cut up
1/3 c. Crisco

In paper or plastic bag, combine flour, salt, and pepper; add
chicken, a few pieces at a time; shake to coat. Preheat crisco in
electric skillet at 360 degrees or use medium - high heat on
range. Fry chicken, uncovered, without lowering the heat, for 30
to 40 minutes. Turn chicken 4 to 5 times during frying for even
browning. Recipe makes approx: 4 servings.
