1 lb. Prime meat - small pieces
1 chunk of fresh ginger - minced
4 - 5 cloves garlic - minced
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. hot red pepper
1/4 tsp. turmeric
Tomatoe - chopped
Salad Banana Pepper - chopped
Mix meat and spices, then add very little water. (Remember
when you wash the meat it tends to have some water, so do not add
too much water). Place in a medium - large sauce pan. Cover and
cook on low - medium heat for at least and hour. If more water is
needed add a few spoonfuls. Check and stir every 15 minutes. When
the meat is tender let the water dry. Then fry meat by adding
some oil (2 tablespoons or more as desired). Add chopped tomatoes
pieces, and chopped fresh green pepper (not bell pepper) Salad
Banana Pepper. Stir. When oil begins to separate, cover and
simmer for 5 minutes. Check of meat is in thickened sauce, it
should be ready. Taste the spices for adjustment. Decrease the
amount of pepper if you don't want it too spicy.
