1/2 - 3/4 lb ground chuck, or as much as you like 1 large onion 1 green pepper - chopped fine Salt and pepper to taste 1 small can tomato juice and/or 1 large can crushed tomatoes; you may use small amount of juice with tomatoes if you like 2 c. rice Fry ground chuck with onion and green pepper. Fry slowly stirring often. Salt and pepper to taste. Add tomato juice and/or crushed tomatoes. Mix together and simmer 20 minutes. Cook rice in salted water, with a lid on pot. When done, drain off liquid and mix all together. Recipe makes approx: Dinner for 4.
