12 red or new potatoes with skins 6 strips fried and crumbled bacon (I use more bacon) 2 c. shredded cheddar cheese 1/2 stick melted butter Salt and pepper to taste Boil and cool potatoes, slice thinly (Don't peel). Butter bottom of 9 x 13 inch pan. Put a layer of potatoes, salt, pepper, 1/2 of cheese and 1/2 of bacon. Drizzle 1/2 of the butter over this. Repeat layers.
