2 pints fresh strawberries
1- 9-inch pre-baked pie crust
3/4 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 Tbsp. Strawberry flavored jell-o
1 c. water
Red food coloring
Wash and remove stems from 2 pints fresh strawberries. Drain
berries thoroughly on paper towels. Place berries end point up, in
one 9 inch pre-baked pie crust. Arrange berries.
Saucepan-- 3/4 c. sugar, 3 Tbsp. cornstarch, 2 Tbsp. strawberry
flavored jello, 1 c. water. Cook, stirring constantly until
thickened and transparent. Add red food coloring to a rich red.
Pour over berries, refrigerate. Serve with whipped cream. Recipe
makes approx: 6 - 8 servings.
