2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. lard or shortening
3/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vinegar (added to milk)

Mix flour, baking powder and salt. Add lard and mix with
fork until crumbly. Add milk and vinegar to mixture and knead
with hands until smooth. (Do not over knead). Roll out and cut
into biscuit shape. Place on cookie sheet. Bake at 425 degrees
for 8 - 10 minutes or until brown.
