HOME MADE HILL-BILLY BREAD

1/2 c. cornmeal
1 c. soy grits
1 c. oatmeal
6 c. flour
2 pkgs. dry yeast dissolved in 1/2 c. warm water
1 tsp. salt
1 c. molasses
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 c. milk or water
4 Tbsp. honey (optional)

Put first 4 ingredients in large bowl. Mix next 5 ingredients
together, then add yeast. Add liquid to the flours. Mix to a soft
ball. Let rise until double in size. Put on a floured board and
shape into loaves. Let rise again. Bake at 350 degrees for 45
minutes.
