EASTER BREAD

1 1/2 c. milk - scalded & cooled
1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. Crisco
2 c. Warm water
6 Large eggs - beaten
1 1/2 cakes yeast

Put yeast in sugar and let melt. Mix cooled milk and water
with yeast mixture, add remaining ingredients and mix well. Let
rise to double, shape into plated loaves, let raise again to
double. Bake 350 degrees for 10 minutes, then bake at 300 degrees
for 50 minutes. Recipe makes approx: 50 servings.
