3 c. flour 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking powder 1 c. Crisco 1 c. milk 1 c. sugar 2 c. water 4 Tbsp. butter Baking Apples NOTE: First boil 1 cup of sugar, 2 cups of water, and 4 tablespoon of butter. Peel and slice apples. Mix first 5 ingredients together like pie dough. Divide in half. Roll out thin like pie crust and cut into 5 x 5 inch squares. Put apples in center. Put 1 tablespoon flour and 2 tablespoon sugar in each square on top of apples. Seal square. Do this until all apples and dough are used up. Boil 1 cup of sugar, 2 cups of water, and 4 tablespoons of butter. Place in baking dish. Bake at 450 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes.
