3 - 5 really brown bananas - peeled
2 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 c. milk (milk or less to suit)
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla (optional)
1/2 c. crushed nuts (optional)
Mix all ingredients well. Heat skillet until very warm. Add
Crisco or cooking spray. After batter is poured into pan, turn to
medium heat. When bubbly on top, flip them over to finish cooking.
These are a heavier pancake. They take a little longer to cook.
They are worth the wait. Enjoy! Add butter and syrup or eat them
plain. Recipe makes approx: 10 pancakes.
