3/4 c. Hominy Grits
3 c. water
1 bouillon cube - chicken
1 sausage patty
2 Tbsp. water
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
Cook first 3 ingredients according to package directions and
set aside, keep lid on to stay hot. Fry sausage patty, turn off
fire. Drain and pat fat out of skillet with a paper towel. Add 2
tablespoons of water and chop the sausage in the water until fine.
Add this water and sausage to hominy and stir well. Add parmesan
cheese to this and stir well. Serve hot or refrigerate and
re-heat later in microwave.
NOTE: You can also slice and fry this in a little olive oil.
