1 c. butter, softened
2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
2 c. all-purpose flour
2 c. crisp rice cereal
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
In mixing bowl, beat together softened butter and cheese until
creamy. Add flour and mix; fold in cereal. Roll into small balls
and place on a cookie sheet sprayed with vegetable oil. Press down
with fork, forming a crisscross pattern. Bake at 325 degrees for 10
minutes, or until golden brown.
Optional: To make them spicy, add 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper.
