1 lb. ground venison 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1/4 c. self-rising flour 1/2 c. self-rising flour 1/2 c. vegetable oil Mix first 4 ingredients and form into 4 burgers. Coat both sides with the 1/2 cup flour. Put vegetable oil into skillet on medium. When oil is hot, place the burgers in oil and cook 4 to 5 minutes on each side. Remove and drain. Serve on bun with trimmings or smother in gravy and serve with creamed potatoes or rice. Or saute 1 bell pepper, sliced, and one onion, sliced, in butter until done.
