12 pieces venison steak (3 x 4-inch), cubed 1 egg, beaten 1 c. milk 2 c. self-rising flour salt and pepper 2 c. vegetable oil Salt and pepper cubed meat. In a bowl, beat egg and milk together. In a bowl, place flour. Coat venison with flour. Dip in egg and milk mixture, then back into flour. Drop into hot oil over medium heat. Cook until golden brown; turn and repeat. Remove and drain.
