1 1/2 c. uncooked rice 3 Tbsp. butter 1 small onion, chopped 3 c. broth (chicken, lamb or beef) 1 tsp. salt Melt butter in heavy skillet. Add rice. Braise well until butter bubbles. Fry onions in separate skillet until golden brown. Mix onions with rice; add broth and stir well. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Remove and stir. Bake until rice is done.
